Are you going to do this?

As a records manager, you are the expert in the field of digital information management within our case management system. You ensure that our information is not only properly recorded, but also remains easy to find and reliable. Your work contributes directly to a future-proof and efficient information process.

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • Smart digital file management: you set up the case management system optimally, monitor quality, and ensure clear processes, working agreements, and instructions.
  • Coach and source of information: you help colleagues to record information correctly and find it easily. You are their guide in case-oriented working.
  • Registration where necessary: incoming items via email or post? You ensure that they are entered into the system correctly.
  • Quality above all else: you monitor the quality of our digital data: complete, reliable, findable, and provided with unambiguous naming and context.
  • Quality assurance: you will work with the team on the quality system and the quality assurance manual.
  • Continuous improvement: you answer questions, identify information needs, and translate these into practical solutions. In this way, you help us to continuously improve our business-oriented approach.
  • Digital sustainability: you arrange the annual digital destruction of files that have reached their retention period.

Your future department and organization

About the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority

The Noorderzijlvest Water Authority is located in a unique area where land subsidence caused by natural gas extraction and earthquakes significantly affects water management. The consequences of these developments, as well as climate change, are affecting the (waste) water system. Rising sea levels, more frequent and longer periods of heavy rain, interspersed with prolonged drought, but also challenges in the field of sustainability and new (problematic) substances: these are problems that require robust solutions. We want our (waste)water system to function as naturally as possible and to be climate-proof, resilient, and healthy in the long term. This requires us to take appropriate and affordable measures in a society that wants to discuss and influence these issues.

To effectively manage the challenges facing our water authority, we are implementing organizational optimization measures to improve our ability to work in a future-oriented and integrated manner. We believe this will provide a solid foundation for strategic thinking, enabling us to translate our plans into our daily work and carry out our tasks as efficiently as possible. This is becoming increasingly important in a society that is changing and demanding a lot from us.
