Board

The board of the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority consists of an Executive Board and a Board of Directors. The Executive Board is part of the Board of Directors.    

Agenda, documents, and public participation

When does our board meet and what is on the agenda? The meetings are open to everyone.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors has 23 members. Together, they formulate the policy, regulations, agreements of the water authority.

Executive Board

The Executive Board prepares the decisions of the Board of Directors and implements those decisions.

Coalition agreement

In the 2023-2027 coalition agreement, the board emphasises "the value of water."

Court of Auditors

Together with Wetterskip Fryslân, we have an independent Court of Auditors that audits the effectiveness of our policy and its implementation.

Elections

We have had a new Board of Directors since 29 March 2023.
