Board

The board of the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority consists of an executive committee and a general board. The executive committee is part of the general board.

When and what does our board discuss? The meetings are open to everyone.

General management

The general board has 23 members. Together, they determine the policy, rules, and agreements of the water board.

Daily management

The executive committee prepares decisions for the general board and implements those decisions.

Coalition agreement

In the 2023-2027 coalition agreement, the administration emphasizes "the value of water."

Court of Auditors

Together with Wetterskip Fryslân, we have an independent Audit Office that investigates the effectiveness of our policy and its implementation.

We have had a new general board since March 29, 2023.
