The water situation deals with the amount of expected precipitation and the supply and discharge of water.
Key points
- Due to the precipitation over the past few days and the lower temperatures, the precipitation deficit is currently decreasing;
- About 70 millimetres of precipitation are expected over the next two weeks. This will further reduce the precipitation deficit;
- We are still supplying water from lake IJsselmeer to Groningen and Drenthe;
- With the precipitation, we are seeing a decline in the water demand.
