General management

The general board of the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority has 23 members. Together, they determine the policy, rules, and agreements of the water authority. They do so on behalf of the groups of residents, farmers, foresters, and nature conservationists. The group of residents is divided into different parties and is therefore elected during the water authority elections. The other groups form the categories.
