Dike surveillance lifted and dike passages reopened
The highest measured water level at sea was NAP+ 3.72.
Storm Eunice meant that full dike surveillance was put in place last night. At 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, surveillance was scaled back.
No abnormalities were found or incidents reported during the inspection. A live seal was found near the Emmapolder wave run-up measuring point.

The dike crossings in Delfzijl reopened at 5:45 a.m. The port area in Delfzijl is once again accessible as normal.
Update 2:00 p.m.
During daylight hours, an inspection was carried out on the dikes, quays, and structures. The storm left a few areas of wear on the sea defense. We can repair these as part of our regular work. No other issues were found in our working area and no damage was observed to our structures.
