Dyke passages closed again due to high water levels
On Wednesday, February 2, shortly after midnight, we will be dealing with high tide at sea. Rijkswaterstaat predicts a water level of NAP +3.10m in Delfzijl around 00:10. This means that the dyke passages coupures) in Delfzijl will be closed.
We will start closing the road on Tuesday evening at 9 p.m. This will result in the temporary closure of the port of Delfzijl. Traffic will be diverted using signs. Once the water has receded sufficiently and the road is clear of water, the roads will be reopened. The Delfzijl coupures always close when the expected sea level is NAP + 3m or higher.
