Schedule and information - Runsloot and Stroetenloop
In 2018, the Board of Directors gave a green light for the exploratory study of the Runsloot-Stroetenloop project. During this phase, it became apparent that not all WFD targets were achievable and that not all opportunities for the stream system had been fully identified. New insights led to a reassessment of the plan in 2025. In October 2025, the Board of Directors gave its approval.
Plan development
A project team has now been formed to work on this task. The exploratory phase has been completed together with engineering firm Sweco. We are now moving on to the plan development phase, in which the plans will be finalised and detailed. This will take account of the environment, natural values, and technical feasibility. A pilot project is being carried out in the Runsloot. The results of this project may be useful to the Runsloot and the Stroetenloop. At the beginning of 2026, we will organise an information meeting in the area about this pilot project.
