The dyke passages Delfzijl always close when the expected sea level is NAP +3 meters or higher. The water level of NAP +3 meters is expected on Friday morning around 7:00 a.m. The protocol is to dyke passages the dyke passages three hours in advance. We carry out the closure together with our colleagues from the Hunze en Aa’s Water Authority.
