Update: dyke passages reopened, dyke surveillance stopped

The dyke passages Delfzijl are open again and dyke surveillance discontinued. Yesterday, Thursday, December 21, at 2:00 p.m., we closed the dyke passages Delfzijl due to high tide at sea. We dyke surveillance full dyke surveillance both last night and this morning. As a precaution, we inspected the sea dyke Lauwersoog to Delfzijl. The highest water level measured was NAP + 04.02 meters at pumping station Drie Delfzijlen pumping station . This was measured at around 7:00 this morning.
