Update Eunice: dyke surveillance will be carried out; closure of Delfzijl dyke passages from 21:30.

Rijkswaterstaat has revised its previous forecast. The expected highest water level at sea will be NAP+ 3.90 metre at 2:10 a.m. tonight. 

Due to the revised forecast for sea levels, Storm Eunice has prompted the following measures in the Noorderzijl region :

  • The expected sea levels are the determining factor for setting up dyke surveillance. The latest forecasts from Rijkswaterstaat metre a maximum water level of NAP+ 3.90 metre . This level is expected at 2:10 a.m. on Saturday morning. This means that the water authority dyke surveillance water authority dyke surveillance , contrary to the earlier announcement this afternoon.
