Current water situation - 15 July

Key points

• Because of the rainfall in June, the precipitation deficit in our region is significantly lower than in the rest of the Netherlands;
• We are currently supplying water from lake IJsselmeer to Groningen and Drenthe. That supply has not yet reached its maximum capacity;
• Where possible, we are currently retaining extra water; 
• There is currently enough water, but given the dry conditions forecast, we are monitoring the situation closely.
