Current water situation - 2 February

Our water situation updated again.

Key points

  • There was less precipitation than normal in our area in January.
  • Most of the precipitation fell as snow.
  • The meltwater is partly absorbed into the soil and partly flows into watercourses. This has caused local water levels to rise. This is normal in these winter conditions.
  • Excess water slowly drained into the sea. Because there was slightly less precipitation, the average discharge also remained limited.
