Current water situation - 24 August

Key points

• Due to the precipitation over the past few days and the lower temperatures, the precipitation deficit is currently decreasing;
• About 70 millimetres of precipitation are expected over the next two weeks. This will further reduce the precipitation deficit;
• We are still supplying water from lake IJsselmeer to Groningen and Drenthe;
• With the precipitation, we are seeing a decline in the water demand.
