Key points

• Although the precipitation deficit in our region is increasing, it is still lower than in the rest of the Netherlands;
• We are supplying water from lake IJsselmeer to Groningen and Drenthe. The supply of water from lake IJsselmeer has not yet reached its maximum capacity;
• Although the water level in lake IJsselmeer is falling, there is currently enough water available;
• However, the nationwide situation may impact the supply to our region. So, we are keeping a close eye on the nationwide situation;
• This makes it important to use water as sparingly and wisely as possible.
