Farewell to dike reeve Bert Middel
It's all over for our dike reeve Bert Middel. Today we will bid him farewell in a fitting manner. We will do so this afternoon with a varied program featuring renowned speakers and Groningen madness at our water board headquarters in Groningen.
With the cooperation of Peter Glas (Delta Program Commissioner), Rogier van der Sande (chairman of the Union of Water Boards), Hetty Klavers (dike reeve of the Zuiderzeeland Water Authority, on behalf of the Circle of Dike Reeves), Eisse Luitjens (on behalf of the board of the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority), and a special performance by the world-famous 'rock 'n roll duo' Pé Daalemmer and Rooie Rinus. After this, Bert can retire with peace of mind.
