Elze Reitsema appointed as executive board member at Noorderzijlvest
On Wednesday, September 11, Elze Reitsema (36) of Groningen was appointed to the executive board of the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority.
On July 16, 2024, Reitsema was nominated by the Water Natuurlijk political group to serve as a temporary replacement for Executive Director Arie van Wijk. Van Wijk will be absent for an extended period due to illness.
Elze Reitsema has been involved with the Water Natuurlijk Noorderzijlvest political group since 2016. She initially served in a support role and, since 2019, has served as an elected member of the Executive Board and as the group’s chair. Denny Boersma will take over as chair of the Water Natuurlijk group.
