Celebratory afternoon on the new Lauwersmeer dyke - Saturday 26 September

Celebrate the new dyke with us from the harbour in Lauwersoog!

For four years, we have worked on the dyke, and large sections were closed off. Now, the 9-kilometres-long dyke has been reinforced and features new additions for nature, recreation, and traffic. To celebrate this special moment, we’re hosting a festive afternoon on the dyke on 26 September. Celebrate the new dyke with us from the harbour in Lauwersoog! During a fun-filled afternoon of activities, nature, and socialising, you can explore the new Lauwersmeer dyke.

Registration is not required. Come to the dyke on the east side of the harbour (near the small beach) on Saturday afternoon between 14:00 and 17:00. Or come to the tidal culvert at 16:00. We look forward to seeing you there!
