During the excursion, we will take you by bus over the dyke to the tidal culvert. The dyke is currently closed to the public due to reinforcement work, so this is a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes! Accompanied by colleagues involved in the project, you will learn how the tidal culvert works, why it was built, and what the tidal area means for water safety and nature. You will receive explanations from the people who worked on the design and construction of the dyke and the tidal culvert.
