High water, particularly in the southern part of our region
A considerable amount of rain fell in a short period of time today.
Local flooding
Over the past few hours, 30 mm of rain has fallen. This is causing flooding, particularly in the southern part of our region. Sluices have been lowered and pumping stations to drain the excess water. We are doing our utmost to prevent local flooding. This does take some time. We will, of course, remain vigilant.
