Residents choose name for new Zoutkamp pumping station
Together with residents of the area, the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority is looking for a name for the new pumping station Zoutkamp. Between December 1 and 23, interested parties can vote for their favorite name via the project website. The construction of the new pumping station the historic Hunsingosluis is part of the 'Nieuwe Waterwerken Zoutkamp' (New Waterworks Zoutkamp) project. This pumping station a larger capacity and replaces the current pumping station .D. Louwes pumping station . The new pumping station put into operation in 2025. In this way, we are compensating for the negative effects of climate change and guaranteeing water safety.

3. Gemaal Hunsingo

New Waterworks Zoutkamp
