Newsletters Clean Yard, Clean Water October 2021

Agriculture and clean water are inextricably linked. Many farmers are already making significant contributions to cleaner water. This is happening, for example, through the “Clean Farmyard,” “Clean Water for Arable Farming,” and “Clean Water for Dairy Farming” projects in the Groningen region of water authority .

Clean Farmland, Clean Water Arable Farming Groningen (DAW)

Clean Farmyard, Clean Water Arable Farming Groningen (DAW) is a project that provides arable farmers in the Noorderzijlvest region Groningen with advice on how to reduce the runoff of crop protection products from their farmyards. In addition, they are eligible for a grant of up to €2,500 to make investments in this area. LTO Noord is the project leader.

Clean Yard, Clean Water Dairy Farm Groningen (DAW)

Clean Farmyard, Clean Water Dairy Farming Groningen (DAW) is a project that provides dairy farmers in the Noorderzijlvest region Groningen with advice on how to reduce nutrient runoff from their farmyards. In addition, they are eligible for a grant of up to €1,000 to fund investments in this area. LTO Noord is the project leader.
