Westerkwartier Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Noorderzijlvest Water Authority is constructing a new wastewater treatment plant in Gaarkeuken. This will eventually replace the old plants in Marum, Gaarkeuken, and Zuidhorn. Cleaner water, better for the environment, and less odour and noise in the surrounding area.
