Westerkwartier Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Noorderzijlvest Water Authority is constructing a new sewage treatment plant in Gaarkeuken. This will eventually replace the old plants in Marum, Gaarkeuken, and Zuidhorn. Cleaner water, better for the environment, and less odor and noise in the surrounding area.
