Pruning shears in trees at Gaarkeuken

The Noorderzijlvest Water Authority will soon be pruning trees between Gaarkeuken and the bridge at Eibersburen. The work will take place south of the Van Starkenborgh Canal, along the 't Honderd cycle path.

Work activities

  • We prune for safety reasons. After inspection, it appears that some trees have suffered storm damage. In addition, some trees contain dead wood.
  • We want to finish pruning before the breeding season begins. That is on March 15. 

Cyclists and other road users may experience some inconvenience due to the work.
