Start of work on the Noorddijk nature and recreation area
In September and October, work will be carried out in the Noorddijk nature and recreation area. The work involves dredging a number of waterways, digging a new waterway, and constructing or replacing dams with culverts.
Possible nuisance
The work will take place in the Noorddijk nature and recreation area. Carrying out the work may cause some inconvenience to walkers and cyclists in the area.
Reason
The work is being carried out as part of the Water Supply to Eastern City Districts project. One of the aims of the project is to reroute the main waterway so that it no longer runs through the Bevrijdingsbos. The work is being carried out in consultation with Natuurmonumenten and its tenants.
