We currently have status B: Partially compliant.
Links to other websites
Our site contains links to other websites, such as arcgis.com and map stories (storyboards). Not all information on these sites is easily accessible. The water board is looking for ways to make this information accessible as well.
PDFs
Digital accessibility places high demands on PDF files. In the coming years, we will be replacing old PDF files with accessible PDF files. Is something unclear or difficult to read? Send an email towebbeheer@noorderzijlvest.nl.
Map material
Making map material accessible on our website (via our geo-portal or via PDF documents) requires effort. Where possible, alternatives for geographical information will be offered in the future. Interested parties can contact the Noorderzijlvest Water Authority to view map material and/or receive explanations at the head office in Groningen.
Our measures
We have taken the following measures to promote compliance with accessibility requirements:
- Pre-publication check: our web editors check all content for accessibility as thoroughly as possible before publication.
- Internal control: the web editors periodically carry out interim checks on the content.
- Training: our editors and document writers have completed training on accessibility.
- The roles and responsibilities within the organization are laid down in a draft Digital Accessibility Manual.
- Software: our editors use special software to make information (text, images, video) more accessible.
