Update: Delfzijl dyke passages reopen

Rijkswaterstaat predicts a water level of NAP +3.10 meters around 1:50 p.m. The dyke passages Delfzijl always close at +3.00 meters.

Closing from 10:30 a.m.

We will start closing the harbor at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. This will result in the temporary closure of the port of Delfzijl. Traffic will be diverted using signs. Once the water has receded sufficiently and the road is clear of water, the roads will be reopened. 

The protocol is to dyke passages the dyke passages three hours in advance. We carry out the closure together with our colleagues from the Hunze en Aa’s Water Authority.
