NAP +3.10 metres
Rijkswaterstaat forecasts a water level of NAP +3.10 metres around 13:50. The dyke passages in Delfzijl always close as of +3.00 metres.
Closure will start at 10:30
We will begin closing the area at 10:30 on Sunday morning. As a result, the port of Delfzijl will be closed temporarily. Traffic will be diverted with signs. Once the water level has dropped sufficiently and the road is clear of water, the roads will be reopened.
The protocol is to close the dyke passages three hours in advance. We carry out the closure in coordination with our colleagues from the Hunze en Aa’s Water Authority.
