Update: Delfzijl dyke passages reopen
On Sunday evening, January 14, at 10:30 p.m., we closed the dyke passages Delfzijl due to high tide at sea. The highest water level was NAP +3.01 meters. This was measured on Monday morning, January 15, at 2:35 a.m. The dyke passages Delfzijl are now open again.
The dyke passages Delfzijl always close when the expected sea level is NAP +3 meters or higher. We carry out the closure together with our colleagues from the Hunze en Aa’s Water Authority.
