Update: Delfzijl dyke passages reopen
On Sunday evening, 14 January, at 10:30, we closed the dyke passages in Delfzijl due to high water at sea. The highest water level was NAP +3.01 metres. This was measured on Monday morning, 15 January, at 2:35. The dyke passages in Delfzijl are now open again.
The dyke passages in Delfzijl always close when the expected sea level is NAP +3 metres or higher. We carry out the closure together with our colleagues from the Hunze en Aa’s Water Authority.
