Provisional results of Noorderzijlvest elections announced
This afternoon, the preliminary results of the water board election for Noorderzijlvest Water Authority were Noorderzijlvest Water Authority by dyke reeve van der Schaaf. In the Noorderzijlvest area, 292,199 voters were eligible to cast their ballots for a total of 11 parties with 190 candidates. A total of 172,866 votes were cast. This brings the voter turnout to 59.2%. That is nearly 6% higher than in 2019.
Preliminary seat allocation
Of the 23 seats, 4 are reserved. Two of these are for the natural areas category and two for the undeveloped land category.
The provisional distribution of the remaining 19 seats is as follows (the number of seats in 2019 is shown in parentheses):

Final results
The final results will be announced on Thursday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. during a public session of the central election committee. It will also be announced at that time whether any candidates have been elected based on preferential votes.
