Former Hoogkerk sewage treatment plant demolished
This morning, our former sewage treatment plant in Hoogkerk was peacefully vacated by the last squatters, and the formal transfer took place.
Space for materials and equipment
Demolition began immediately, as agreed in advance. First, asbestos was removed. Then the actual demolition of the building was carried out. After clearing the site, it will be leveled and left to settle. That will take several months to half a year. After that, the site will be made suitable for storing materials and equipment. We will need a place for that when we start renovating and expanding our workshop in Onderdendam early next year.
