What you need to know

Practical information for your visit to our fun and educational beach

Important practical information

  • Admission to the event is free! Our grounds open at 2:00 PM. You’re free to come and go as you please. The closing act is spectacular. It’s worth staying for: this act begins around 5:00 PM, starting on the lake and continuing on our stage.
  • The "Our Water World" event will take place on the welcoming grounds of Siblu Family Parks in Lauwersoog. The grounds are NOT accessible to motorists. Only guests staying at the park may park here. Therefore, we will direct visitors arriving by car from the direction of Fryslân and Groningen to park in surrounding parking lots using signs along the access route. You will be transported to our beach via regular free shuttle buses. And, of course, back to your car as well.
  • The access route via the N388 and N361 will be partially closed during the period surrounding the event. Thanks to the cooperation of the Province of Groningen and the contractor involved, the route will be (partially) open this Saturday so that our visitors can easily reach us. Please observe speed limits and follow any instructions from traffic controllers. You will be driving through a construction zone for a short distance.
  • Limited parking is available on the grounds of Siblu Family Parks for people with disabilities.
  • Why not explore the area or dyke the reinforced dyke on foot or by bike before heading to our beach? We offer walking and biking routes. Keep an eye on our social media and this website for more information. It’s coming soon.
  • There is a restaurant on the grounds of Siblu Family Parks (restaurant 't Booze Wiif)
  • There are several food and drink trucks on our beach. You are responsible for paying for your own food and drinks.
  • There are limited restroom facilities on our beach (portable toilets, urinals). The restrooms at Siblu Family Parks near the restaurant 'T Booze Wiif are available to visitors. Please keep everything clean!
  • Please don't leave any litter behind. Use the trash cans on the beach.

We hope everyone has an informative and enjoyable afternoon!
