Tours
We offer various excursions for school classes and groups of interested parties. We are also open to ideas for visits to locations and projects.
Standard tours
For interested adults and groups of people in associations, we organize standard guided tours on the first and third Thursday afternoons of the month at the following locations:
The tours take place from April to September and are free of charge. We recommend that you request a tour in advance, as we need to take into account the work being carried out at the locations. You can submit a request using the registration form provided with the tour.
On an expedition with students from grades 7 and 8
Our experts are happy to talk about clean and sufficient water in nature and treated at the water's edge or on location. We have a few standard options for grades 7 and 8 of elementary school:
- In May and June, you can apply to the water authority for water authority ditch expedition. A water expert will explain how to test whether the water is clean, and we will catch aquatic creatures.
- In the spring and fall, guided tours are available at the Garmerwolde wastewater treatment plant, including a guest lecture and a creative assignment on water conservation.
- In spring and fall, guided tours are available at pumping station Waterwolf pumping station , with explanations about the water system and a fun game about water management.
