Information meeting on the draft Water Level Regulation Plan

During this meeting, we will inform you about the proposed water level management in the Fivelingo basin. We will also discuss a number of measures to improve the water system in the area. You are very welcome to attend. Registration is not required. A link to the draft Water Level Regulation Plan at the bottom of this page.
The area
The Fivelingoboezem water level control area is located in the municipalities of Eemsdelta, Groningen, and Hogeland. The area is roughly sandwiched between the Eemskanaal in the south, the Eems in the east, the Eemshavenweg in the north, and the Garrelsweer-Loppersum-Garsthuizen line in the west. The Damsterdiep up to the Oostersluis complex in the city of Groningen is also part of the Fivelingoboezem drainage area.
