Information meeting on the draft Water Level Regulation Plan

During this meeting, we will inform you about the proposed water level management in the Fivelingo basin. We will also discuss a number of measures to improve the water system in the area. You are very welcome to attend. Registration is not required. A link to the draft Water Level Regulation Plan at the bottom of this page.
The area
The Fivelingoboezem water level control area is located in the councils , Groningen, and Hogeland. The area is roughly bounded by the Eemskanaal to the south, the Eems to the east, the Eemshavenweg to the north, and the line Garrelsweer-Loppersum-Garsthuizen to the west. In addition, the Damsterdiep up to the Oostersluis complex in the city of Groningen is also part of the Fivelingoboezem drainage area.
