Our six subcatchments

In parts of our region, very different challenges region will need our attention in the coming years. Use the map to discover what these challenges will be from 2022 to 2027. We distinguish between the following areas:

• in and around lake Lauwersmeer;
• the northern coastal strip;
• the lower-lying Maren area;
• the Zuidelijk Westerkwartier;
• the Drenthe stream valleys;
• and the towns and villages.
