Useful information

  • Guided tours can be requested from April to September.
  • The tour must be requested at least 4 weeks in advance.
  • Maximum of 24 people per tour guide
  • Unfortunately, the tour is not easily accessible for people in wheelchairs.
  • The water authority may cancel the tour at short notice due to work, emergencies, or weather conditions.
  • The tour is at your own risk.
  • There are no costs associated with the tours.

Safety first

Visiting the treatment plant is at your own risk. Bacteria may be released at the treatment plant, which generally do not pose a risk. However, the bacteria released may be harmful to an unborn child/baby or to people in poor health. Therefore, the water authority strongly recommends against visiting the treatment plants for:

  • pregnant women
  • people in poor health

Tours for elementary, secondary, and vocational students

Useful information

  • The tours are for children in group 7 of primary school and above.
  • The minimum age of the student is 10 years old, and the student must be able to follow safety instructions.
  • Minimum group size: 12 students
  • Maximum group size: 32 students
  • The school must provide one supervisor or teacher for every 10 children.
  • The tour is at your own risk and the teacher is responsible for the group of students during and after the tour.
  • There are no costs associated with the tours.
