Waste disposal fee schedule 2025
Waste processing costs and minimum tariff system.
- Rates for waste processing are set annually in the annual plan of the Noorderzijlvest water board.
Waste disposal costs
The costs depend on the type of waste you deliver. Wastewater is charged based on the delivered
waste load (calculated using the government formula) multiplied by the applicable rate for
pollution tax.

The prices quoted are valid for the year 2025, subject to any interim changes in
final processing costs and/or changes in legislation and regulations. The amounts do not include any
additional analyses that may be required and are exclusive of 21% VAT.
Minimum rate system
However, in order to cover costs, a minimum limit has been set on the costs per product and
unit. This is the amount that will be charged in any case. A
minimum rate system is used for this, according to the following schedule:

| less than 3 tons per shipment: 1 v.e. (= 1 x €89.51) |
| less than 15 tons per shipment: 2 v.e. (= 2 x €89.51) |
| 15 tons to a maximum of 40 tons per shipment: 3 v.e. (= 3 x €89.51) |
Amounts exclude 21% VAT.
Exceptions are deliveries of septic tank waste from locations for which pollution tax is paid to the
Noorderzijlvest water board. These can be offered for processing free of charge.
