Request wastewater and sludge treatment for businesses
Wastewater and sludge cannot simply be discharged into our waters. You must report the discharge or apply for a permit at the Environment and Planning Portal. In some cases, the water authority can process wastewater or sludge for you.
Who can apply for wastewater and sludge treatment?
If you have wastewater and sludge that is biodegradable, the water authority can treat it for you.
How does it work?
- Fill in the waste-treatment application form (Dutch only)as completely as possible.
- We will then assess whether your waste is suitable for processing at our wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
- For the conditions, see the Water Authority Standard Discharge Conditions
Costs
The costs depend on the type of waste you deliver. See the Rates chart at the bottom of the page for more information.
