Our employees also provide information about the regulations apply to water and soil. We do this through company visits, newsletters, and presentations. In this way, we aim to prevent violations as much as possible.

The water authority authorized to impose a penalty and to revoke the permit. We also employ Special Investigating Officers (BOAs). In the event of a violation , they violation issue an administrative penalty or a report.
Enforce compliance
In the event of a breach, you can enforce compliance yourself by submitting an enforcement request. This must be submitted to the competent authority, such as the water authority. This can be done in writing or by email. The competent authority must process your complaint. It is possible to submit a complaint anonymously. You will receive a response to the enforcement request no later than 8 weeks after submitting it.
Why area-specific measures?
Area-specific enforcement means that we adapt our supervision and enforcement to the situation in a particular area. We look at the soil, the water, how the land is used, and how much pressure there is on the environment. This enables us to respond better to what is needed in a particular area.
