Schedule
- In 2025 and 2026, around 50 measuring points will be installed in the lake and in nature and agricultural areas. With the help of this saltwater monitoring network, the salt content can be measured daily at different locations and depths.
- Until 2028, we will be working with government agencies, nature organisations, farmers, and other landowners to study the best way to achieve the freshwater-saltwater transition between lake Lauwersmeer and the Wadden Sea. We refer to this as the exploratory study.
