Planning
- In 2025 and 2026, around 50 measuring points will be installed in the lake and in nature and agricultural areas. With the help of this saltwater measuring network, the salt content can be measured daily at different locations and depths.
- Until 2028, we will be working with government agencies, nature organizations, farmers, and other landowners to investigate how we can best achieve the freshwater-saltwater transition between Lauwersmeer and the Wadden Sea. We refer to this as the exploratory phase.
